FAQs
Your wardrobe and storage questions answered

Q. CAN I HAVE SOFT-CLOSE DRAWERS IN MY CUSTOM WARDROBE?
A. Yes — all of our custom wardrobes come with soft-close drawers as standard. You can also choose push-to-open functionality for a cleaner look. Both options offer a quiet, seamless experience and align with the high-end quality we build into every design
Q. CAN YOU DESIGN AND QUOTE FROM ARCHITECTURAL PLANS?
A. Yes — we often begin the design process using architectural plans, particularly for new homes. However, to create a truly tailored solution, we recommend booking a design consultation with one of our team. This allows us to better understand how you live, your storage needs, and how the space will be used — all of which influence the final design and quote.
Q. CAN I ADD A CUSTOM WARDROBE TO MY EXISTING HOME?
A. Absolutely. Many of our projects involve retrofitting wardrobes into existing spaces. The best place to start is with an in-home consultation. We’ll meet with you to assess your space, understand how you use it, and create a design that blends seamlessly with your home. If you’re not ready for a site visit just yet, you’re welcome to pop into one of our showrooms for advice and ideas.
Q. CAN YOU CREATE CUSTOM WARDROBES FOR OTHER AREAS OF MY HOME, NOT JUST THE BEDROOMS?
A. Absolutely. We design and manufacture custom storage for every part of the home — including home offices, laundries, garages, and media rooms. Whether it’s sliding doors, shelving, or full cabinetry, we tailor each piece to your space, layout, and lifestyle
Q. WHT COLOUR OPTIONS ARE AVALIABLE FOR CUSTOM WARDROBES?
A. We offer a wide range of melamine colours from NZ suppliers including Laminex, Prime Panels, and Bestwood. Most reach-in wardrobes use a clean white interior, but we can incorporate accent colours for drawers or panels if you'd like a more personalised finish.
Q. WHERE ARE YOUR WARDROBES MADE?
A. All of our wardrobes are proudly designed, manufactured, and assembled in New Zealand by our own team. We use high-quality materials and work closely with trusted local suppliers to ensure every wardrobe meets our standard of craftsmanship and durability.
Q. WHAT MAKES YOUR WARDROBES TRUELY CUSTOM?
A. Every part of your wardrobe is built to suit your space and how you use it — no generic modules or preset layouts. We work with you during the consultation to design storage that makes sense for your daily routine, from hanging zones to shelving and drawer configurations.
Q. WHAT BESPOKE SHOE STORAGE OPTIONS CAN BE BUILT INTO MY WARDROBE?

Q. FOR A MASTER BEDROOM, WHAT STYLE OF CUSTOM WARDROBE DO YOU RECOMMEND?
A. For master bedrooms, we usually recommend our Euro or Classic wardrobe systems, depending on your layout and how you use the space.
-
The Euro range is our luxury wardrobe solution, designed for larger walk-in spaces or dressing rooms. With 25–30mm panels, deeper units (500–600mm), and premium features like glass-front drawers and display shelving, it brings a truly refined, high-end look and feel to your master suite.
-
The Classic range offers a premium yet practical design — ideal for reach-in wardrobes. With floor-mounted units crafted from 18mm NZ-made melamine and multiple hanging and drawer options, it delivers smart storage with timeless appeal.
For simpler storage needs or additional wardrobes throughout the home, our Traditional range offers a cost-effective starting point, with shallower units and flexible configurations — still built to our high standards using NZ materials.
To ensure the perfect fit, we recommend booking an in-home consultation. Our designers will guide you through layout, finishes, and functionality to create a wardrobe that suits your lifestyle beautifully.
Q. WHAT DOES YOUR 10 YEAR GUARANTEE COVER?
A. This covers faulty products and workmanship. Please note that our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, water damage, neglect, abrasive cleaners, accident or normal wear and tear, or malicious damage, but we will happily remedy anything to do with products or workmanship if required. Any questions, just give us a call.
Q. WHAT BESPOKE ACCESSORIES CAN I INTERGRATE INTO MY CUSTOM WARDROBE?
A. We offer a refined range of custom accessories to elevate both function and style within your wardrobe. Think flocked jewellery drawers, custom-fit compartments, pull-out mirrors, soft-close sliding shelves, trouser racks, belt and tie organisers, and LED lighting to highlight key areas.
For those who want something truly unique, we can even design island units with stone tops or custom display cabinets to suit your collection. Just let us know how you live — we’ll create smart, elegant solutions to match.
Q. WHEN SHOULD I PLAN A CONSULTATION FOR MY CUSTOM WARDROBE DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF MY NEW HOME?
A. We recommend booking a consultation as soon as your architectural plans are available. This allows us to review your layouts early, offer suggestions, and provide a preliminary design and quote.
Locking in your design early means we can advise on electrical placement (like lighting and switch positions), align installation timelines, and ensure your custom wardrobe is integrated into your build — not retrofitted as an afterthought. Early planning also gives you priority scheduling and better design flexibility.
